The ToFu light is a clear acrylic block
illuminated at
its frosted edges by a flashlight-like “illuminant”
inserted into one side. The significance of the
ToFu, according to Tokujin, “is
manifested through
light, not the lamp itself." It is in the
collection of
MoMA, New York.
