Handcrafted in Japan by Masayuki Yanai these wonderful toast plates are full of character. The surface of these wooden dishes features a series of triangular mounds, carved at even intervals to slightly lift up the toast or food from the plate. Made of Japanese walnut, these wooden dishes will catch the light beautifully and be stunning anywhere they are placed.
In addition, the bottom of the recess has fine slits that make it easier to absorb excess moisture. The oil of toast efficiently soaks into the wood to protect the wood, and since it does not remain as dirt on the surface, it saves the trouble of washing the dishes.
Made of light and dark Japanese walnut called Onigurumi
Dust off or wash with a thin neutral detergent. After washing, wipe well. and dry in the shade. Oil with Flaxseed,Walnut or Mineral oil to maintain the wood’s rich color and softness.
