Design: Charlotte von der Lancken for Klong Sweden
Industrial designer Charlotte von der Lancken was inspired by Alberto Giacometti’s elongated sculptures when she created the thin silhouette of the Tender Candlestick Collection. She was enchanted by how backlight can seemingly whittle down a shape to the slenderest proportions and she has beautifully interpreted that in the Tender Candlestick series. They are made of solid brass with a nickel-plated surface or with an added black finish to the nickel creating a luminous glow. These candlesticks are absolutely enchanting and when grouped together at different heights - like notes dancing along a page of music!
Available in one short and two tall versions.
