British designerSimon Hasan creates these boiled leather water tight vases using a medieval armormaking technique from the 15^th century called Cuir Bouilli. Vegetable tanned leather isboiled and dried to create objects of compelling rigidity and beauty. Thebottle vases are lined with black polyurethane resin, ensuring water tightnessfor cut flowers.

Due to the nature of the process, all colors and dimensions of bottles and openings are approximate and tonal variations in color are to be expected. Vegetable tanned leather will patinate with age and use.

by Deborah Ehrlich is made of hand-blown, hand-cut and hand polished

clear, non-lead Swedish crystal. The result is paper-thin

each vessel on tracing paper and it is then hand-blown by masters

in Sweden and finally finished by Ehrlich's signature with diamond-tipped pen.
