Black Alpha Drinking

This
elegant black addition to the Alpha series is far more difficult to produce
than the other colors in the Alpha LOBMEYR line. It hardens much quicker, which
leaves no room for error when it is being produced. To achieve this color,
Manganese has been added in the glass production process
They are made of material called muslin glass, which is crystal, blown to a thickness of.027 inches.
Production on these
exquisite black pieces was started in 2006 and the gold rim was added in 2009

All Lobmeyr crystal is lead free potassium crystal. It has a
higher melting point than lead crystal and is more difficult to produce. It is
lighter, harder and more elastic than crystal that contains lead and is very
durable despite its delicate feel and appearance.
