Alessi
Following WWII, when steel once again became available for mass
production, Alessi, the renowned Italian producer of domestic
objects, began to introduce products with a more industrial
aesthetic, shifting from a more purely decorative approach. This is
similar to the industrial aesthetic the Glass House introduced to
the domestic use of steel in architecture during the same period.
